Happy February! January has been our best month since our opening in 2023! We are doing more services than ever, getting busier than ever with more amazing patients than ever! All I can say is thank you to our hard-working team, phenomenal supporters and of course our beloved patients.
In January, we renewed our efforts and worked on how we envision our place within the Loomis and Placer communities. We are so excited to partner with Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin for are upcoming community fundraiser on Feb 13th for Galentine’s Day. (See more below.)
Additionally, we sponsored a table and door prize at their annual “It’s In the Bag” fundraiser in January. Funds go to support their work with women and girls with scholarships for education and teachers. They support local Del Oro High School and Koinonia Group Homes in Loomis to name a few. At our table, we hosted Loomis and Placer businesswomen, residents, educators, and professionals. It was a fun night and some of our girls even won some prizes.
So what is “Galentine’s Day”? It’s like Valentine’s Day, but for gals. But we aren’t leaving you guys out! All are welcome. We are hosting a “Galfriend’s Closet Sale.” What is that? Bring in gently use clothes to resell or donate. Price them for a “steal” and then all can shop for their new favorite pieces. It’s great for those on their weight loss journey who have some nice things they can no longer wear and for many who are between their starting and goal size. A portion goes to our charity, Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin and the rest goes back to you. We take nothing! We will donate any left-over clothes to another local charity, Compassion Planet, in Rocklin. Plus, we will have some fun extras that night and of course snacks and drinks. As we close out 2024, we would like to remind everyone that we carry Obagi as well as Jan Marini Skin Research as our preferred medical grade skincare lines. As usual this time of year, the prices of both lines went up on Feb 1st. However, we are holding off on our price increases until Mar 1st, so don’t wait to stock up.
