Happy May! It’s really hard to believe that we are looking at summer right around the corner. I absolutely love spring and it’s my favorite time of year. Why? Because spring means rebirth, renewal, reawakening, refreshing. What better time of year to talk about your skin and health, right? However, summer is coming fast so be sure to read through our newsletter for some tips.
Drumroll please….our newest device has just arrived! After over 2 years of researching and vetting devices to find the BEST fit for my patients, I have purchased a very unique laser called the Aerolase Neo Elite. The Aerolase uses NeoLight™ technology, a patented, high-energy laser system that delivers a variety of therapeutic benefits for various skin conditions. The device is primarily known for its ability to treat skin issues like acne, pigmentation, vascular conditions, and skin rejuvenation, with minimal discomfort and downtime.
I am so excited to add this treatment option particularly for my patients battling pigmentation (i.e. melasma and age spots). But it is also a powerhouse device to treat rosacea and acne. I personally suffer from plaque psoriasis and it has already helped my psoriasis. Additionally, we can treat toenail fungus, spider veins, skin laxity….the list goes on and on. It treats 36 conditions.
The benefits of the Aerolase Neo is that the treatments are quick (usually 20 minutes depending on body part), very comfortable, don’t require ANY numbing, and no downtime for most treatments. Last but not least, it can be used on ALL skin types from fair to the darkest of skin tones, unlike some other lasers that may be less effective or risk injury in darker skin tones. Given we are bringing on our Aerolase, we are phasing out our IPL. Our IPL has done some wonderful things but it’s time for something newer and better!
March and April saw a huge uptick in our spa services! Why? Well, I think because we lowered our prices to make it more accessible to our patients. We are even doing a lot of teen facials and facial services for men. Our estheticians have already helped countless patients.
